I started Taekwondo after a friend called Waiwah told me to take up Martial Arts. My best friend Azhar told me to come and join his Taekwondo club, and I have never looked back since.

Grandmaster Shahid Yousaf- 9th Dan in Taekwondo
He started at the age of 17 training under Murray Walker in Rugby England. Shahid trained with some of the most known Masters like –Master Kev Hornsey, Master Niel Guest, Master Dave Oliver and the Grandmaster Roy Oldam.Shahid trained in Rugby in the 70s, and graded over 100 black belts, including Master Vendon Wright 7th Dan. In 2024 after training for over 50 years, Shahid Yousaf gained his 9th Dan. He was presented the certificate by Master Murray Walker himself.
Grandmaster Murray Walker-
Murray Walker was known as one of the 12 Disciples of Grandmaster Rhee of Korea. Murray Walker taught Taekwondo in the early 70s. His assistant was Grandmaster Roy Oldam who went on to own his own ITF federation. Murray Walker also taught Kev Hornsey of the WTF and many others that we all refer to as Masters.Murray Walker was the first person in England to hold the European championship in Taekwondo. It is because of his strict training that help most of his students go onto become Chairman and Directors of WTF, ITF, GTF and TAGB Taekwondo.
